Meet the Chef – Christopher Bryant (Junior Sous Chef)

Chris started his career at 16 when he joined the Army Catering Corps, serving in the UK, Northern Ireland and Cyprus. After full time service, Chris left to join the TA for several more years. During his career he has worked for large catering companies such as Sodexo and Compass Group, hotel groups such as Holiday Inn International and smaller exclusive restaurants such as Cedar Falls Spa Hotel and Rumwell Farm Restaurant.

He enjoys working at Haynes as there is so much variety to the job and the team are so friendly. ‘It’s like a large family - save for the washing up which someone else does usually!’

He enjoys the motor exhibits too, particular the motorbikes!!

In his spare time Chris enjoys running, astronomy, learning to play the electric guitar, local and military history, building heritage, medal collecting, and of course, cooking. Chris currently lives in Bridgwater and is hoping to relocate soon.
