BSA combination in need of assistance

28th Nov 2016

During 2016 the Museum has been very pleased to see a good number of our motorcycles in running order.  Our 1960 BSA M21 ‘Slogger’ sidecar combination, for many years used by the AA to provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists, has been in need of assistance itself recently.  When last ridden it suffered a flat tyre and sadly could not perform in front of museum visitors (who were not disappointed to see a 1927 Model W instead).  Volunteers who look after our motorcycles are waiting for the delivery of a new Avon tyre and inner tube which will get the bike back in running order.  Look out for it when you visit; we have several ‘combi’s’ but the BSA is unmissable in its bright yellow livery.
