We are looking for a confident person who is very keen to learn new skills in classic car body fabrication and restoration. You will be working directly under our Bodyshop Fabricators learning all aspects of classic vehicle body restoration using both classic and modern techniques. The Workshop and Restoration Centre is modern and exceptionally well equipped. This position requires someone who is dedicated, hardworking and always strives to do their best. It is a full time role working 5 days a week and hours are 08:30-17:30 Monday to Friday (40 hours) but some flexibility should be considered. You will attend College on a block release basis and achieve a level 3 qualification in the required 3 years, all expenses will be paid. You will report directly to the Head of Bodyshop and Fabrication Mr Barry Chapman. 

Specific Duties include:

  • Restoration and body repairs on customer vehicles
  • Restoration and body repairs on Museum vehicles 
  • Keeping to specific time schedules for jobs
  • Accurate reporting of work carried out
  • Keeping a clean and tidy work place
  • Learning new skills and putting them in to practice
  • Attending shows and events when required outside of normal working hours to help promote
  • the services of the Workshop and Restoration Centre
  • Any other task that may be required to ensure the smooth running of the workshop
